Declutter is a must.

Here is a little starter.

Starting with the kitchen, tackling the junk drawer and expired food in just 15-minute zones made the process manageable and less overwhelming. It’s amazing how many duplicate gadgets and forgotten timers pile up! On day two, I focused on my closet — letting go of clothes and shoes that I hadn't worn in over a year felt freeing. The donation pile quickly grew, and making decisions based on fit and comfort was key to creating a wardrobe I genuinely enjoy. The bathroom was an eye-opener; sorting through old makeup and expired products cleared so much clutter, and limiting what’s kept under the sink and in linen closets really simplified daily routines. One of the biggest wins was dedicating a day to paper clutter — sorting mail, paperwork, and cords helped establish a filing and shredding system that cuts down on future mess. Plus, clearing nightstands and under-bed storage during the bedroom day brought a surprising level of calm to my personal space. Living areas benefited from setting “homes” for toys, books, and even entryway clutter, which made daily tidying easier. Finally, addressing digital clutter and drop zones helps maintain an organized space beyond physical items. This staged approach prevents burnout and builds momentum. Whether you have limited time or motivation, dedicating focused periods to one area at a time ensures lasting results. If you’re starting on your decluttering journey, try setting a 15-minute timer per zone as a tip to stay on track and celebrate small wins each day. Your home and mind will thank you for it!
