Living openly as a gay individual has been a journey of self-discovery and strength for me. In my daily life, I choose to be authentic and unapologetic, which often means setting clear limits with those who express negativity or intolerance. Social media platforms can be both empowering and challenging in this regard, so it’s important to curate your interactions to foster a positive environment. If someone doesn’t accept my identity, I’ve realized that it’s perfectly okay to step away or block negativity, focusing instead on those who uplift and support me.
