Stepping back into Hong Kong Disneyland after so long felt like a dream come true, and I just had to share some extra tips and highlights beyond my initial excitement! If you're planning a trip, here's what else made my visit unforgettable and some practical advice. First off, getting there is super easy! I always take the MTR. You just head to Sunny Bay station, and from there, it’s a quick, themed ride on the Disneyland Resort Line straight to the park's entrance at the RESORT STATION DISNEY. It’s part of the fun, really, seeing everything decorated before you even step inside! While the World of Frozen absolutely stole my heart – it’s a must-do, trust me – there are so many other amazing lands to explore that make HKDL unique. Don't miss Mystic Point, home to the incredible Mystic Manor. It’s a trackless dark ride unlike any other Disney park, and the storytelling is just brilliant. For thrill-seekers, Grizzly Gulch with its Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars offers a fun, wild ride. And over in Toy Story Land, the RC Racer always gets my adrenaline pumping! Beyond the rides, I found that taking time to soak in the atmosphere in places like Adventureland and Fantasyland really adds to the charm. The Festival of the Lion King show in Adventureland is spectacular, and it’s a great way to cool down and rest your feet while enjoying world-class entertainment. Make sure to check the schedule for parade times, as the day and night parades are truly magical and offer fantastic photo opportunities, especially with the stunning new castle as a backdrop! And let’s talk food! My initial mention of “the food omg” wasn't an exaggeration. Beyond the standard theme park fare, HKDL has some unique treats. Look out for the adorable character-themed dim sum – they’re almost too cute to eat, but so delicious! I also love grabbing a quick bite at the various stalls along Main Street U.S.A. for some classic Disney snacks. Don't forget to explore the special themed snacks in the World of Frozen too. As for merch, if you're a fan of Duffy and Friends like me, you'll find an incredible selection here, often with exclusive Hong Kong designs that you can't get anywhere else. I ended up buying way more than I planned, but zero regrets! One last tip: even though it’s a smaller park compared to some others, getting there early helps you beat the crowds, especially for popular attractions like Frozen Ever After.
