ส่งตา ยายกลับไทย ใครเค้าร้องละ!! #แม่บ้านอเมริกา #แม่ปุ๊กลูก4 #คนไทยต่างแดน
Waking up at 3 AM to prepare for sending my parents back to Thailand was a deeply emotional experience. After five months of having them here, the reality of their departure hit hard. It’s never easy to say goodbye to loved ones, especially when they have shared so many everyday moments with us. Planning the trip involved not only packing and ticket arrangements but also preparing emotionally for the gap their absence would create. From my experience, the key is to focus on the gratitude for the time spent together, rather than the sadness of parting. We find comfort in knowing that despite the distance, technology helps us stay connected through video calls and messages. Financial planning is another important part—for example, saving up to buy new plane tickets for future visits or for inviting grandparents back again, as I’m currently doing. Living abroad as a Thai family presents unique challenges and blessings. We cherish each visit from parents or grandparents, as it strengthens family bonds and cultural roots. Sharing Thai traditions and meals keeps the heritage alive in a foreign land. Of course, there’s also a tinge of homesickness once they leave, but it motivates us to work harder and reunite soon. For others sending parents or elders back to their homeland, I recommend keeping open communication, making the farewell memorable with small celebrations, and preparing the household for their absence. It’s vital to acknowledge the feelings involved openly—the tears, smiles, and hopes for the next reunion all matter. Embracing these emotions helps the transition be smoother for everyone.
