One of my favorite spring cleaning hacks is to start with the cushions on outdoor furniture. They tend to collect dust, pollen, and sometimes mildew during the colder months. I usually remove the cushion covers, if washable, and give them a gentle machine wash following the care label instructions. For cushions that can’t be machine washed, a mixture of mild soap and water applied with a soft brush helps lift dirt and grime without damaging the fabric. When it comes to cleaning the furniture itself, a simple blend of warm water and dish soap works wonders for most materials, whether they are metal, wood, or plastic. Using a soft cloth or sponge, I wipe down all surfaces thoroughly. For stubborn stains or mold, adding a bit of white vinegar to the solution can be incredibly effective and natural. Don’t forget about those tricky spots like underneath seat cushions or in the crevices—these often hide dirt and debris that can degrade furniture over time. For these areas, a handheld vacuum cleaner can be a great tool. Finally, once everything is clean and dry, applying a protective spray or sealant especially designed for outdoor furniture can help extend the life of your pieces by protecting them from sun and moisture damage. Incorporating these simple hacks into your spring cleaning routine not only revives the look of your outdoor patio but also improves the hygiene and comfort of your outdoor living space for the whole season ahead.

I mean, are they rigid inside because if there’s no wood or cardboard inside it, you could throw them in the washing machine and get them extra squeaky clean but I care if there’s something inside and stopping them from being able to be in the washing machine then yeah OK that is a need option and I didn’t know you could use that
