I’ve found Marvel’s focus on street-tier heroes like Daredevil and Spider-Man gives a grounded feel that complements their larger cosmic tales. When it comes to female characters, I agree that DC gives them strong, distinct identities beyond archetypes, while Marvel also makes strides but sometimes leans more into team dynamics. The nuanced writing around DC women like Wonder Woman shows how a character can embody both power and complexity. Villain portrayal is another area where Marvel seems to shine with iconic adversaries like Thanos and Loki who have rich backstories and motivations.
