Healthy Cells Matter… But So Does Hope
We’ve spent the last few weeks talking about healthy cells.
How they communicate.
How they produce energy.
How they repair.
How they adapt.
How they help keep our bodies functioning every single day.
Learning about the human body has left me in absolute awe.
But over more than 20 years in healthcare, I’ve also learned something equally important…
Even healthy people can receive life-changing news.
Cancer doesn’t only affect people who made poor choices.
Heart disease doesn’t only affect people who ignored their health.
Autoimmune diseases don’t always have simple explanations.
Sometimes life changes in ways we never expected.
That’s why I believe in doing everything we reasonably can to care for our bodies.
But it’s also why I believe our hearts need care too.
Because there comes a moment when information alone isn’t enough.
We need courage.
We need peace.
We need faith.
We need hope.
That realization is what inspired me to write From Battle to Breakthrough.
Not because hope replaces medicine.
But because no one should walk through cancer—or any difficult diagnosis—feeling alone.
❤️ Understanding our bodies helps us prepare for life.
Faith helps us walk through it.
📖 Tomorrow I’d love to share a small excerpt from the book that means a great deal to me.
