dior forever loose cushion powder: the compact itself is so gorgeous and high quality, and the powder is very nice and does an excellent job of matte-ifying my skin in an instant. it leaves me feeling camera ready at all times!

ouai hair gloss: i always get a gloss treatment at the salon when i get my hair done, so when this came out i knew i had to have it. i’m already halfway through my first bottle and the effect it has on my hair is magical! they are soft, shiny, silky, and i get so many compliments. it also smells like their birth bondi fragrance, which makes for a very luxurious spa like experience.

gisou honey infused hair oil: words cannot express how excited i was for this purchase. i haven’t tried it out yet, but later on when i upload my hair care routine i will try it out with no bias! what i can say though is that this smells so pleasant. it has a very subtle fresh honey scent to it, and a faint dandelion note as well. absolutely thrilled to give this a try!

tom ford tobacco vanille eau de parfum: all my friends know me as a fragrance junkie, so it was only a matter of time before i broke the bank and officially reached for a tom ford classic. i’m not a big vanilla fan, i oftentimes find it overbearing and cloyingly sweet. but this was a vanilla experience that i absolutely adored. the tobacco leaf is very spicy yet smooth, and it blends harmoniously with the vanilla base. one spritz was more than enough, this is a POWERFUL, enduring scent. it smells so divine, like a wealthy aunt sitting in a vintage leather armchair discussing business with her latest “beau”. i will definitely hold onto this one. 100% worth the splurge! i will however do a full review later when i am able to wear it throughout the entire day, so stay tuned for that.

sol de janeiro cheirosa 59 perfume mist: i’m not the biggest fan of sol de janeiro, as their scents are too gourmand for my liking. however, when i heard about this scent i knew i had to give it a shot. violet and sandalwood are two of my favorite perfume notes, not too overbearingly sweet at all. i’m glad i tried this out! it’s a very pleasant musky and slightly woody vanilla. it’s non-offensive, an amazing price, and blends well with almost any other scent! if you like vanilla scents or are young and looking to start transitioning out of traditionally feminine scents, i’d suggest giving this a shot!

nemat lotus fragrance oil: i adore perfume oils, and after an amazing experience with nemat’s amber scent i decided to give their lotus oil a chance. i was a little disappointed to say the least. this had an almost cough syrup esque scent to it. it appeared to smell exactly like dayquil mixed with febreeze. however, after a couple minutes of letting it sit on my skin, the fragrance improved significantly. although there were still faint notes of cough syrup, i could smell the heady floral notes of lotus with a slight undertone of dirt come through. it is ultimately an okay fragrance, and i’m happy that i got it on sale. but i do hope that everyone considering this is not phased by my review though, as perfume oils are known to smell drastically differently on people due to skin chemistry. i will regrettably not be purchasing this again, but it’s always a fun adventure to try new things out!
