These experiences taught me that healing is not always linear; it involves confronting raw vulnerability and deep-rooted trauma. One of the most important things I’ve learned is the role of community in healing. Whether it’s through shared prayer, counseling, or simply being present with someone in pain, healing often happens in the company of others. My father’s work, counseling women recovering from profound trauma, showed me the transformative impact of compassionate listening combined with spiritual practices. The process often involves releasing negative energy and realigning one’s emotional state, which feels like shedding heavy burdens we sometimes carry unknowingly. Reflecting daily with gratitude has helped me nurture resilience and self-awareness. I believe every personal transformation begins with embracing vulnerability, allowing yourself to feel and process pain rather than suppress it. From my room, where our family started a small living room church, to now sharing these stories openly, it’s clear that healing is not just about fixing what’s broken but about awakening inner strength and hope. Whether through spiritual faith, therapy, or personal reflection, the key is to remain open and compassionate with yourself.
