A stunning 5 star read!🌸
This book yall..
Noah and Sadie were SO cute together. Ugh, they had my heart both in and out of their D&D sessions.
I loved getting to know the both of them. Why they were who they are, why they made the decisions they do, and their backstories.
I think that’s why I love books with older characters, they’ve had whole lives before finding each other, and you get to explore that with the couple as they get to know each other.
Don’t get me wrong, I love a good YA story, but I love my ‘older’ couples.
I think Liam was my favorite character overall. He was an amazing DM, and he supported Sadie throughout the story as a great best friend. I’d love to be his friend too. I hope his implied love interest worked out, he deserves the best.
The moments of girl time were great too. Jules and Morgan were great friends; and I enjoyed watching 3 women get along and have 0 competition. I hate when there’s a weird competition between female characters, it’s great that that didn’t exist here. They just wanted to play D&D without romance, I love and respect that.
Overall, I loved their love story, and I really enjoyed this. Everyone who recommended this to me were right, I loved it so much.
I HIGHLY recommend this book, especially if you love D&D. It’ll make you fall in love with it more.
