Unlock plus size plow pose

Is it Plow or Plough? (Internet says it's both) 🌿

🌼 First things first, you don't have to do plow (or shoulder stand)(or any pose you don't want to do).

But if you do want to have plow in your asana repertoire, here are some yoga pose variations to try out.

🌿 By using the strap on my chest and not lowering my legs to the floor, that I have room to breathe through my nose.

It's fun to try leg variations, and they give a different sensation, one leg up is less intense, wide legs give room to breathe.

I don't have enough yoga blankets, but something I've seen done is folding up and stacking 2-3 blankets, laying the shoulders on them, so the neck doesn't have the pressure when you move into the pose.

⚠️ Above all else, don't injure yourself. There's no shame in doing "legs up the wall," and it's still an inversion.

Plus size yoga students (and teachers) need access to yoga pose variations that work for their bodies and decrease frustration in class.
