Pause, breathe, and let them go.
Treating thoughts as hypotheses can create more space. It lets you pause before reacting, check the evidence, and ask, “Is this actually happening, or is this just noise again?” Sometimes the thought holds up like it’s real, but often it is not. Either way, we need to manage the story it tells.
