Fitness Diary Entry Day4 “What I’ve learned“

Day Four of Being Locked in to fitness

1) drink drink drink your water- your skin will glow, you will feel full, and your bowels will regulate

2) if you’re hungry- eat. But make sure you are actually hungry and not just eating for the sake of it

3) chose a time to cut off eating each day (I chose 6 pm)

4) low hanging fruit is the easiest to grab- exercise can be done throughout the day, not just at a set time. For example: any time you go for a bathroom break do 10-15 squats or throw on your weighted vest during your chores

5) Be gentle to yourself- the weight wasn’t put on overnight and it won’t disappear over night. Glow while you get to the glow up #gettingstronger #getfitwithme💪🏽 #fitnesstransformationjourney #blackgirlfitnessjourney #getyourglow

Drinking plenty of water daily not only helps your skin achieve a natural glow but also aids digestion and controls appetite, which is essential when starting any weight management plan. Listening to your body’s hunger cues is another step that can’t be overlooked. Eating when genuinely hungry, rather than out of habit or boredom, fosters a healthier relationship with food and supports metabolism. Setting a specific time to stop eating each day, such as 6 pm, helps regulate caloric intake and improves sleep quality. Incorporating movement throughout the day can feel less intimidating and more doable than committing to long workouts. For example, using bathroom breaks for quick sets of squats or adding a weighted vest during household chores adds activity without needing extra time. This approach makes fitness a seamless part of daily life rather than a separate, daunting task. Finally, being gentle with yourself is crucial. Weight changes and fitness improvements happen gradually, so patience and self-love during the journey are vital. Embracing the process and celebrating small wins keeps motivation high and makes the path to glowing health enjoyable and sustainable. Remember, the goal isn’t perfection but consistent progress towards feeling stronger and more vibrant every day.
