🇮🇹 Italian Dining with City Skyline Glow at Sospiri

Southern Italian food with a view? Sospiri might be your next pick. Located on the 7th floor of IOI Central Boulevard, it overlooks Marina Bay Sands — and yes, you’ll get a partial glimpse of the NDP fireworks too 🎆.

There are two sections: a full-service indoor restaurant and a rooftop bar that opens daily from 3PM onwards — perfect for post-dinner drinks with skyline views.

Here’s what we tried:

🥩 Beef Tartare with Truffle

Today’s special (not on the menu) — this turned out to be the highlight of our meal. The beef was incredibly fresh, and the truffle elevated the richness without overpowering. Balanced, elegant, and worth ordering if available.

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🍝 Linguine di Gragnano Al Granchio

Linguine tossed in a bright, tomato-based sauce, complemented by creamy eggplant and a generous amount of sweet crab meat. Comforting and full of flavour.

Rating /⭐⭐⭐⭐

🦐 Tagliolini agli Scampi

Portioned into three individual nests — great for sharing. The pasta was silky, and the dish had a delicate seafood essence, though the flavours leaned on the subtle side.

Rating /⭐⭐⭐

🍫 Torta Caprese

A dense chocolate moka cake finished with fig vincotto glaze. While it had an interesting flavour profile, the texture was a little dry — would’ve liked it better with a creamy element.

Rating /⭐⭐

🥂 2 Glasses of Champagne — Cuvée Jouette Extra-Brut ‘15

🍽️ Complimentary Bites:

🍞 Free-flow house-made focaccia

🍰 Mini cream puffs for guests celebrating an anniversary or birthday

💰 Total: $250.59 for 2 pax

🎯 Would I go again?

Yes — especially for the view and relaxed vibe. It’s a great spot for a quiet catch-up or date night. Would definitely be back if the tartare became a permanent item on the menu.

... Read moreIf you’re considering a visit to Sospiri, here are some insider tips to enhance your experience. The restaurant’s location at IOI Central Boulevard offers a unique vantage point not just for everyday dining but also during special events like the National Day Parade (NDP). While the NDP fireworks are only partially visible, the combination of cityscape glow and celebratory sparkles creates a memorable ambiance that adds to the charm of the place. Sospiri’s rooftop bar, which opens from 3 PM daily, is an inviting spot to unwind after your meal. The laid-back atmosphere pairs beautifully with their curated champagne selections—perfect for a casual drink or a romantic toast. I found the complimentary house-made focaccia especially comforting, and it's a nice touch that guests celebrating milestones receive mini cream puffs as a sweet gesture. For dish lovers, aside from the highlight beef tartare with truffle, which I’d highly recommend trying if available, the linguine with crab offers a fresh and flavorful experience representative of authentic Southern Italian cuisine. The tagliolini with scampi, served in individual portions, is great for sharing, though the flavor is a bit on the subtle side—ideal if you prefer a lighter seafood dish. If you're eyeing dessert options, the torta caprese presents an interesting mix of chocolate and fig but could benefit from a creamier texture to balance the density. Overall, the pricing might seem on the higher side, but considering the location, quality of food, and ambiance, it feels justified. To make the most of your visit, consider signing up for the IILido Group membership for savings and vouchers, and use Kris+ for payment to rack up rewards miles. The mix of good food, skyline views, and thoughtful service makes Sospiri a stellar choice whether for a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner, or special occasions like anniversaries with that extra spark of NDP fireworks on the horizon.
