Books I read this month + my favorite quotes
The first book I finished for the month of August was House of Shifting Tides by Olivia Wildenstein- the 4th book in the Kingdom of Crows series. Something about Zendaya saying “may the ocean reshape you” really stood out to me, there’s many ways in my own life where the ocean has reshaped me. 🌊🐦⬛
The second book I finished was House of Burning Frost. It’s the 5th and last book in the Kingdom of Crows series. It was a less world building (being the last book) there we new people introduced and prophecies still needed to be fulfilled. There was a sweet love story that intertwined with books earlier in the series. When I finished this book I truly felt like I was leaving a family behind. ❄️🤍
The next two books were Phantasma & Enchantra💀🥀 these books were more gothic fantasy, something I hadn’t really read before and they were the perfect books to start this journey! I DEVOURED these books in 6 days total. I need more!!
The last two books I read for the month were Lightlark & Nightbane. YOU GUYS!! I’m reading Skyshade right now and my heart is equally torn between Oro and Grim- just like Isla. I couldn’t imagine being in her position!! This series had me hooked instantly. It’s giving hunger games with magic and much darker. What team are you??? Oro or Grim???
