Healing isn’t a staircase, it’s more like a spiral walkway with repeated lessons ❤️🩹#healingjourney #bethechange #fyp
Healing is often misunderstood as a straightforward progression, but my experience has shown me it's much more like a spiral walkway. This means that while we revisit similar challenges or emotions, each time we approach them with greater insight and strength. It's not about avoiding pain or setbacks but learning how to respond differently and grow from them. For example, when faced with past hurts that may resurface, I’ve learned to recognize these moments as opportunities for deeper self-awareness rather than signs of failure. Each 'circle' through these experiences allows me to carry less emotional baggage and gain a higher perspective on what truly matters. This aligns with the idea that growth isn't about never falling but about not staying down. The words from the image, such as 'You're not going back' and 'You're coming home different,' resonate deeply with me. They reflect the transformation that occurs as you keep rising despite recurring themes in your journey. Over time, you develop more compassion for yourself and others, make better choices, and approach life with a lighter step. I’ve found that embracing this spiral nature of healing encourages patience and kindness towards oneself. It helps to remember that while the path may loop back on itself, it moves upward — offering new freedom and the power to rewrite your own story. This mindset shift has been pivotal in my personal healing journey, enabling me to face challenges with gratitude and renewed strength rather than fear or frustration. In essence, healing is not just a process but a practice of continual learning and growth, where every revisit brings a higher view and a fresh chance to rise anew.
