Chocolate Chip Protein Cookies

One thing about me, is that if I’m locked in, the whole family gotta be too 😂 and my daughter has had the itch to bake, she has been asking me for days now! So her and I made chocolate chip protein cookies for dad for Father’s Day! They’re pretty good, the consistency is a little off as far as cookies go, but the flavor is good! And the best part is, the kids like them, and they have no junk, and no added sugar!

140kcal

11g carbs

9g protein

8g fat

These are changeable based on the ingredients you use & how many cookies you choose to make. I will always opt for a slightly higher macro if the ingredients are better.

Recipe:

1/2c blended cottage cheese

1/2c plain Greek yogurt

3/4c almond flour

1/4c coconut flour

1/3c plain or vanilla protein powder (I use @just.ingredients.shop - follow the link in bio for a discount!)

2tbsp melted butter

1tsp baking powder

1/4c 70% cacao or semi sweet chocolate chips.

Preheat oven to 350 and bake until golden brown on edges. You can still have the food you like to eat and be in a calorie deficit and high protein. Just get creative. This isn’t something I would have every day, I would still not consider this enough protein to be considered “high protein”, but it’s definitely a better/healthier choice than a regular cookie. The kids will have them polished off in no time 😂
