Okay, so you won't believe this, but I'm still on cloud nine! For those who've followed my Machoverse journey, you know how much passion and effort goes into every Macho Man Randy Savage cosplay. I've always loved bringing the 'Cream of the Crop' to life, from the vibrant gear to perfecting the iconic 'Ooooh Yeah!' impression. Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to attend one of Dan Soder's comedy shows. As a fan of both his comedy and, of course, a huge Macho Man enthusiast, I thought, 'Why not combine my passions?' So, I went all out, dressed as the one and only Macho Man Randy Savage. The atmosphere was electric, and I was just there to enjoy the laughs and share a bit of my fandom spirit. I remember thinking, 'Savage was in your last show,' and it was such a trip to actually live it! Fast forward to hearing Dan Soder himself talking about it on KFC Radio – it's like a dream come true! He mentioned TheMachoverse, and it was so funny to hear his take on the whole situation. You know how it is when you're in character; sometimes you just want to embody the persona. Soder's recounting of it was hilarious, especially the part about him wondering, 'Am I losing it?' and musing about how I 'got dressed up as' Macho Man. He even joked about perhaps thinking, 'come on Randy,' and then reflecting, 'I shouldn't f*cking even said anything' about the interaction, or lack thereof. He mentioned how he thought 'it would have been funny' if there had been more of a moment, and how he felt I 'didn't acknowledge me' initially, which was just part of staying in character! The whole experience has been incredible. It's not every day that your passion project gets a shout-out from such respected names in comedy and podcasting. It just goes to show how much fun and connection there is in the wrestling community and how these unexpected crossovers can create the best stories. Big thanks to Dan Soder and KFC Radio for the mention – it truly made my day, and makes all the effort of crafting the perfect Macho Man Randy Savage cosplay so worth it!
