📦 Closet Clean Out + Wardrobe Refresh ✨
We downsized closet space when we moved into this house, and at first, I wasn’t sure how I’d make it work… but now I’m honestly so glad we did.
Having less space helped me get serious about what I really wear, love, and feel good in—and that meant finally creating a wardrobe that aligns with my Soft Autumn color palette. (Turns out I was reaching for those colors anyway—muted, earthy tones just feel right on me!)
Here’s what I did:
✅ Pulled everything out and sorted what I actually wear
✅ Donated or sold what no longer fits my lifestyle or color palette
✅ Made a list of gaps (instead of guessing or impulse buying)
✅ Took everything to Uptown Cheapskate to sell
✅ Found a few wishlist pieces while I was there—such a win!
I did hang on to a few off-palette pieces I still love, but I’m slowly replacing them over time as I find better matches. I want a wardrobe that feels cohesive, easy to mix and match, and full of things I feel confident in.
