#letschat #lemon8contest I couldn't even begin to express to you the amount of times I've asked myself this question about #veterinarymedicine but I find myself asking again. So I've been in the field as a tech and receptionist for almost 2 years now and I think I've found my forever clinic.... if forever is even an option. I love vet med and helping animals but the constant insulting clients, lack of pay, and general upsetness in the workplace leads me to wonder.... is #Vetmed always worth it? Open to hearing advice from senior techs and other #veterinary professionals as I navigate this time. I'm in tech school and 100% plan to pursue teching further. I'm guessing I just wonder how you push through the hardest days in a field that always seems to get you down.

Been in the Vet field for about eight years now as a tech but I moved to the front about two years ago and I’m a lead CRS but sometimes help in the back or with any emergency. Days can definitely be super hard and stressful but ultimately I feel like it was worth it especially if you find a clinic you like. I love being a voice for pets and helping them in hard times and also get puppy wellnesses. I LOVE the clinic I’m at and have been at this one for almost 3 years and it’s one of my favorite jobs that I’ve ever done/had (I have multiple jobs and always have). I recently resigned because I had a baby and we have no childcare but they said in a year I could go back with the same title. I’m gonna miss it greatly!
