But here’s the truth: your suffering isn’t because of what happened to you—it’s because of how your mind and body learned to respond. And the best part? That wiring can be changed.

One way to train your nervous system to feel safe is through controlled breathing—try this: inhale deeply through your nose for four seconds, hold for four seconds, exhale slowly through your mouth for four seconds, and hold again for four seconds. This signals to your body that you are safe, helping you shift out of survival mode.

You can train your nervous system to feel safe, shift your thoughts to empower you, and teach your body that it’s no longer in danger. Healing is in your hands.
