After the insane amount of hate comments I got on my latest dress (on ig trials), (with people assuming things with no context left and right)… I have come to the conclusion that people are gonna think and say whatever they want no matter what you do. You might as well keep creating what sets your soul on fire, and let them waste their time projecting their own BS in your comment section. 🔥 #fashiondesigner #fashion
Dealing with negativity, especially as a creative person, is a challenge that many of us face. In my experience, the most important thing I've learned is that people will always have opinions—often unsolicited and without full understanding of the context. This can be particularly intense in the fashion world, where expression is deeply personal and public feedback can feel harsh. When I first started sharing my designs, I encountered many people who judged without knowing the story behind my work. The phrase "It's always 'be creative' until a woman actually is..." resonates deeply because it highlights the skepticism and resistance female creatives can encounter. Over time, I realized that the energy spent worrying about negative comments drained my passion. Instead, I made a conscious decision to create what truly excites me and to let others' projections fade into the background. One helpful practice is to focus on your core audience—those who appreciate and understand your vision. Engaging with supportive communities can make a big difference. Additionally, setting boundaries on social media by filtering or moderating comments helps protect your mental space. Ultimately, embracing your creativity and trusting your instincts is vital. The more authentic you are in your work, the more fulfilling the journey becomes. Don’t let outside noise derail your passion; use it as motivation to keep pushing forward and setting your soul on fire.

oooo... that would be amazing over a black silk dress with the same v-neck line... so pretty. I would rock it if I could pull it off.
