I take meds but still get anxious and overwhelmed or overstimulated there's been times that I go nonverbal and just hug my friends they don't mind, I once had a panic attack from a ride at holiday world and a stranger said if I needed a hug go to them in the end my now partner sang you spin me right round as I was having a panic attack then in the end I ended up burying my face in my friend and he held me and made sure I was okay I was to the point that he anchored me to I froze at the bus and said where's [nickname for friend] and my other friend she said he's right back there, I waited for him just to hug him again
