Where to end is the same... Really?

Someone commented in our post that

"It's the same place to end. It's open university to Yale."

Really

For the legal profession, if you pass the exam, you can enter the profession wherever you graduate.

But after more than twenty years, the most valuable thing is not the name of the university.

What changed the way we thought the most was the words of a professor at Georgetown who taught us:

"Securities law is the law of practitioners."

Most teachers do not work in one place, many have passed through regulators, law firms and financial institutions, because this branch of law must learn from acting in multiple roles.

The professor said, "Don't stick to one job. If you have the opportunity, you should learn from the perspective of each organization."

In retrospect, we understand that over the course of our work - rules, legal consulting, capital market transactions or operational governance - we have learned different dimensions of securities law.

All experiences are capped together.

So today we don't feel that success stems from "ending where."

But by not stopping learning.

In the AI era, learned knowledge can quickly become obsolete, but people who are still learning, adapting, and open to new experiences will always have value.

In the end, what makes us survive is not the name of the university, but lifelong learning.
