In my last read, I read 'Flowers for Algernon' and definitely felt some way about it. If the author had been better about his depiction of women, I would've rated it 5 ⭐️, but I landed on a 4 ⭐️.
My current read, 'The Lion Women of Tehran', is going well so far!! I'm only 8 chapters in, but I have a feeling this one will stick with me for a while.
My next read, 'Wild Love', is mainly to lighten up the mood. I have to take a break from the heavy stuff every now and then, and I believe this will accomplish that.

In the world of literature, every reader's journey is unique. Recently, I dived into 'Flowers for Algernon', a poignant tale of intelligence and identity that resonates deeply. It highlights the complexities of personal growth, societal perceptions, and the struggles of those who are different. Although the portrayal of women in this classic left some room for improvement, the emotional depth kept me engaged, leading to my solid 4-star rating. Currently, I'm captivated by 'The Lion Women of Tehran', a gripping narrative that showcases the strength and resilience of women in challenging times. Just eight chapters in, the character development is rich, and I find myself rooting for each protagonist. This book not only entertains but also offers profound themes of courage and survival. Looking ahead, 'Wild Love' is on my list to balance the heavy themes from my recent reads. This contemporary romance promises to lighten the mood while offering escapism through its heartfelt narrative. The blend of humor and warmth has already drawn me in, making me excited for each page.
