Having read Wired for Magic recently, I can truly say this book blends technology and magic in a fresh and compelling way. Rowan's journey from fear and hiding to embracing her mystical side felt very authentic, reminding me of how difficult it can be to accept one’s true potential. The dynamic between Rowan, her hacker brother Griff, and the mysterious aunt adds layers to the story that keep you hooked. What resonated most was the narrative’s balance of suspense and emotional growth. Unlike typical confident protagonists, Rowan’s vulnerability makes her more relatable and makes her eventual empowerment more satisfying. The cyber-mage world-building is intricate without being overwhelming, perfect for readers who love both fantasy and techno-thrillers. Moreover, the found family trope enriches the story, showing how trust and support can come from unexpected places. It’s a reminder that despite fears or flaws, embracing who you are can lead to powerful transformations. For those who enjoy stories about reluctant heroes and complex character arcs, this book is an exceptional addition to your reading list. If I discovered hidden magical powers like Rowan, I think I’d hesitate at first, too. It’s natural to fear the unknown, but ultimately, learning to trust in your own strengths—even the messy parts—is what makes a story truly engaging.
