Teaching children about stranger danger can be a delicate balance—educating them enough to stay safe without causing unnecessary fear. For instance, simulating what to do if approached by a stranger helps children process the information in a supportive environment. Emphasizing the importance of telling a trusted adult if something feels wrong nurtures open communication. From personal experience, combining these lessons with love and reassurance creates a safe space for children to ask questions and feel supported.
