Vintage Cookbook- Scandinavian recipes

Oh this was a good find.

My Grandma’s parents migrated here from Norway would always bake some amazing treats and meals during her childhood and I noticed many of them in this vintage cookbook, plus some I have never heard of before.

Grandma has since passed and she left many fond memories for me… all centered around baking and cooking.

I’ll share some pages over the next few days.

This vintage cookbook had a section for canning! I was super excited to see that. There is a Zucchini Jam Recipe, Chokecherry Jelly Recipe and Canned Apple Pie Mix. I’m going to give the canned apple pie mix a try! I find it interesting she uses cornstarch in her canned apple filling.

Russian Meat Pies- Vintage Cookbook
