GROUNDHOG DAY
Our scholars had so much fun making their own Groundhog Day puppets today. Tomorrow, February 2nd, is Groundhog Day, and we are excited to see whether the little groundhog will see his shadow or not.
Each year, the famous groundhog Punxsutawney Phil comes out of his burrow to help predict the weather. If he sees his shadow, we may have a little more winter ahead. If he does not, spring may be on the way.
This was a fun way for our scholars to learn about traditions, seasons, and weather while getting creative with a hands on activity. We cannot wait to see what Phil decides tomorrow.
