How I naturally shrunk my waist ✨⏳

I’m a mom of 3 small kiddos and I’ve naturally lost over 130lbs and maintained it over the last 2 years and here’s my tips on how I did it 👇🏽

1. I’ve said this before but training your back muscles plays a big part in the illusion of a smaller waist. I personally train back 2x a week right now to also help get rid of those stubborn rolls.

2. Prioritize your gut health!! Listen to your stomach and pay attention to your body after you eat certain foods. A lot of diary and processed foods irritate your gut causing crazy bloating (maybe even constipation). Do your research and start taking the necessary prebiotics/probiotics and greens to help heal your gut and stay regulated.

3. Prioritize strength training but be sure to get that cardio in as well. An overall more active lifestyle can also help burn more stubborn belly fat.

4. Focus on more whole and nutrient dense foods rather than processed and fatty foods. A flat stomach is truly made in the kitchen, because nutrition plays a huge 80% roll losing your stomach.

... Read moreIt's incredible how many people search for 'shrink your waist' online, and believe me, I was one of them! After having my three kids, I really wanted to get my body back naturally. My journey wasn't just about losing weight; it was truly about creating a healthier lifestyle that naturally led to a smaller waist. I’ve seen some great discussions on forums, and I wanted to add even more of my personal insights to help you on your path. First, let's talk more about those back muscles. When I started my transformation, I didn't realize how much a strong back could contribute to that 'snatched' look. It's not just an illusion; building your lats and upper back creates a V-taper that makes your waist appear smaller in comparison. My go-to exercises include lat pulldowns, seated rows, and face pulls. I used to think endless crunches were the answer, but focusing on functional strength, especially in my back, made a huge difference. Looking at my 'before' pictures now, the change in my posture and back definition is just as dramatic as my waist reduction. Then there's gut health – this was a game-changer for me. I used to suffer from constant bloating, which made my waist feel much larger than it was. Cutting out processed foods and excessive dairy was a start, but actively incorporating gut-friendly items really sealed the deal. I found that starting my day with a glass of water with lemon, and regularly consuming fermented foods like kombucha and kimchi, made a noticeable difference. I also swear by my daily dose of super greens and a good probiotic gummy – they really help keep things regulated and reduce that uncomfortable puffiness. It's not just about weight loss; it's about feeling comfortable and light in your own skin. And for those wondering about cardio and strength, it's truly a dynamic duo. I used to think I needed to spend hours on the treadmill to lose weight, but combining it with strength training was the key. Lifting weights not only tones your body but also boosts your metabolism, meaning you burn more calories even at rest. My routine typically involves 3-4 days of strength training, with 2-3 sessions of cardio mixed in – sometimes it's a brisk walk, other times it’s a quick HIIT session on the treadmill. It’s all about finding what works for you and staying consistent. Finally, let's dive a bit deeper into nutrition. You really can't out-train a bad diet. My weekly meal prep is crucial for my success. I focus on lean proteins, plenty of vegetables, and complex carbohydrates. Think grilled chicken with roasted broccoli and quinoa, or fish tacos with lots of fresh salsa. Portion control is important, but more importantly, it's about choosing nutrient-dense foods that keep you full and energized. I learned that healthy eating doesn't have to be boring; it can be delicious and satisfying! This holistic approach is what truly helped me achieve my body transformation and maintain my results, something I often saw people struggling with in online discussions. It's a journey, not a sprint, and every small, consistent effort adds up.
