As someone who absolutely loves exploring this area, I've put together a few more must-do activities that will make your trip unforgettable, whether you're looking for adventure, history, or just incredible views. First up, you HAVE to experience Pikes Peak, 'America's Mountain.' Driving to the summit is breathtaking, but for a unique adventure, try the Pikes Peak Cog Railway! The views from the top are absolutely phenomenal – you can see for miles. Just remember to bring layers, even in summer, as it gets chilly up there! Right next door, don't miss the charming town of Manitou Springs. It's famous for its natural mineral springs, each with a different taste and supposed health benefits. Grab a cup and try a few! The town itself is super quirky with unique boutiques, art galleries, and delicious eateries. It’s perfect for an afternoon stroll and finding some one-of-a-kind souvenirs. For a dose of underground wonder, head to Cave of the Winds Mountain Park. Taking a guided tour through these ancient caves is fascinating – the formations are incredible!
