Ten months and seventeen days ago, I attempted suicide. Today, I am turning thirty. Wow, that’s quite a statement to make, but I am grateful that I am able to express myself at all. My twenties were a rollercoaster, but there’s a blessing in every lesson. I have overcome everything I have faced, and that has shaped me into the woman I am today. I only hope that my thirties will teach me more patience, discernment, and growth. Welcome to thirty, girlfriend! As I embrace my thirties, I look back on my past with gratitude and a desire for continued growth. Transitioning from my twenties, a time filled with intense experiences, I’ve learned valuable lessons about self-acceptance and resilience.
