Tonight I almost hit someone — and it scared me
Walking my dog after dark, a cyclist in all-black clothing suddenly appeared in my headlights. No reflectors, no lights, just a shadow on wheels. I swerved just in time.
Listen, I get it — black is stylish. But when you're walking or biking at night, being visible isn't a fashion choice — it's a safety necessity. The only people who NEED to wear all black at night are literally on a stealth mission. 🕶️
A simple reflective band or bright shirt could be the difference between ""getting home"" and ""getting hit."" Let's normalize being seen, not sorry.
Who else has had a close call?
