Being a Christian mama comes with unique challenges and blessings. Taking time for personal spiritual activities like reading the Bible and praying has been a lifeline for me. These moments provide clarity and renewal, enabling me to face daily challenges with more grace and patience. Additionally, simple practices such as taking a bath, going for solitary walks outside, or just having quiet time alone help me recharge emotionally and mentally. These acts of self-care aren’t indulgences—they’re necessities. In my journey, I’ve realized that my mission field is truly my home. Serving my family is my way of serving God, but to be fully present and effective, I have to nurture myself first. Filling your cup—whether through faith, rest, or peaceful solitude—is the key to being a strong, loving anchor for your family that God calls you to be.
