Buying a home is one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll ever make, so it’s natural to wonder: When is the “right” time to buy?

The truth? You can’t predict the market.

Waiting for interest rates to drop or home prices to fall could mean waiting too long—and missing out on great opportunities.

That said, some times of year might give you a little more negotiating power:

1️⃣ Summer Months ☀️ With more buyers on vacation, there’s often less competition, which could mean more room to negotiate.

2️⃣ Holiday Season 🎄 Most people aren’t looking to move at Christmas. If a home is listed in November or December, the seller may be motivated to make a deal.
