A Divine Invitation
Jesus gave them an open invitation—come and see. What an honor to see where Jesus stayed! Little did they know that by coming to see the Savior, they would eventually see much more than where He lived. They would see Jesus walking on water, raising the dead, healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, and finally, dying in agony on the cross.
But that was just the beginning—the first step in reconciling humanity to God. Because they belonged to Jesus, they would be made pure in heart by His blood and eventually see God.
This is all we need to say to the skeptic: “Come and see. Blind world, come and see.”
Ask Yourself: How can I come and see Jesus daily? What can I do today to make that a reality?
Let Us Pray:
Heavenly Father, I lift up my reader to You. I ask that You draw them to Yourself and open their eyes to the truth of Your love. Soften their heart to receive the Gospel and remove any barriers of doubt, fear, or disbelief. Send the Holy Spirit to convict them of Your righteousness and reveal Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Bring godly people into their life to witness to Your grace. I trust in Your perfect timing and unfailing love to draw them into Your family. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Reflecting on the powerful invitation to "come and see," I’ve found that this call is not just historical but deeply relevant to our daily lives. When Jesus invited people to follow Him, it was an open door to experience healing, hope, and transformation. In my own faith journey, coming to see Jesus daily has become a meaningful practice through prayer, meditation on Scripture, and acts of kindness inspired by His teachings. The image of Jesus as the Lamb of God who "takes away the sin of the world" (John 1:29) resonates with me as a reminder of His ultimate sacrifice and boundless love. This helps me confront my doubts and fears, knowing that His grace is sufficient to cleanse and renew. By opening my heart to Jesus, I’ve witnessed how faith invites unexpected joy and peace even amidst struggles. Moreover, engaging with a faith community and sharing experiences with others has enriched my understanding and strengthened my commitment. Whether through worship, Bible study, or simple conversations, these moments have deepened my connection to Jesus and his message. If you’re wondering how to make the invitation to "come and see" a reality today, start with small steps—take time to read a passage from the Bible, pray sincerely, or reflect on Jesus’ works and their meaning in your life. Embracing this invitation daily can transform skepticism into faith and open your eyes to the divine presence surrounding you.
