Judging My First-Ever Cut Flower Garden Plan (Be Gentle… or Don’t)
This is my first real attempt at growing a cut flower garden—not just tossing seeds into the ground and hoping for the best, but actually mapping out beds, sun exposure, frost dates, succession sowing, and bloom timing. I went full research mode and turned it into a real plan: timelines, backups, direct sow vs. indoor starts, and a layout that (in theory) makes sense with how the sun moves across the yard.
Now I need outside eyes.
I want honest feedback on everything:
What looks solid and should thrive
What’s overplanned or unnecessary
What’s going to surprise me in a good way
What screams “first-time flower grower” that I don’t see yet
