Ceasefire

-----

1. Cease the use of all types of weapons, attacks against civilians, civilian targets and military targets in all areas and cases;

2.Maintain the deployment status at the current location, status from 28 Jul 68, with no force movement and no patrols to the location of the other.

3. No additional strength throughout the Thai-Cambodian border

4. Do not commit provocative acts that result in tension, military activity into the territory, airspace, or location of the other party in accordance with the ceasefire status since 28 July 68, and do not build military infrastructure beyond the scope of the party.

5. No use of force against civilians or civilian targets in all cases;

6. Compliance with the Geneva Conventions: Treatment of those arrested; Requesting the repatriation of the injured person to the other party's medical facility, subject to the capacity of the medical facility, as the case may be, for soldiers in the control of the other party to be released and repatriated after the complete cessation of the use of force, as well as facilitating the prompt return of dignified bodies of the deceased; and handling the bodies under hygienic and respectful conditions.

7. In cases of armed conflict, both intentional and accidental. The two sides will discuss at the practical level through existing bilateral mechanisms. In order to prevent the expansion of the situation.

8. It is agreed that the following matters of practice be added.

8.1 Maintain continuous communication between military units in the area

8.3 Maintain ministerial-level direct communications channels and commanders-in-chief of the two countries

Section 2 Ceasefire Monitoring Mechanism

10. The two sides must proceed with the outcome of the consultations on 28 Jul 68, which included a ceasefire and the presence of a panel of observers from ASEAN Member States, led by Malaysia.

11. It is in favour of the RBC in each area to implement the ceasefire agreement, with the ASEAN Observer Panel, led by Malaysia, as the co-observer. The RBC will meet regularly and submit reports to the GBC in accordance with the chain of command of each party.

12. During the establishment of the ASEAN Observer Mission with Malaysia as its leader, the Interim Observer Mission Mechanism, consisting of ASEAN Member States Military Assistant Ambassadors to Thailand and Cambodia, will serve as temporary replacements.

Part 3 Next GBC Conference

13. The GBC Conference shall be held in one month after 7 Aug 68 (the venue shall be agreed upon later) or else an extraordinary GBC Conference shall be held to negotiate a ceasefire.
