Open 5 new checkpoints Thailand-China Fruit Export Route
The Thai and Chinese governments agreed to open five additional fresh fruit transportation routes to enhance logistics mobility, reduce costs, and expand the agricultural market worth more than 1.8 billion baht. It will officially begin on September 1, 2025.
Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Sirilathiyakorn, revealed that this renovation of the Thailand-China Protocol on Phytosanitary Annex will open a new route for fruit transportation through third countries, reducing congestion during fruit season and increasing market opportunities for Thai farmers and entrepreneurs.
Thailand added three new checkpoints: Chang Field, Nan Province, Ban Hok, Phayao Province, and Phu Du, Uttaradit Province, while China added two in Yunnan, Meng Kang and Ta Luo, resulting in a total of nine fresh fruit exports in Thailand and 12 in China under the Protocol.
According to Chaiwat Yodok, Secretary-General of the National Agricultural and Food Standards Agency (Mkhoch), the Protocol was signed on September 13, 2021 between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Cooperative Affairs of Thailand and the Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC), opening the way for the two sides to adjust the checkpoint in mutual agreement under the Thai-Chinese Hygiene and Phytosanitary Cooperation Memorandum, which Mkhoch is Thailand's main coordinator in the negotiations.
The outpost expansion this time is expected to reduce bottlenecks, increase transportation options, and spread yields into China more quickly and thoroughly, significantly enhancing the competitive potential of Thai fruit in the Chinese market.

การเปิดด่านขนส่งผลไม้สดใหม่ทั้งในไทยและจีนครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงช่วยเพิ่มความคล่องตัวในการส่งออกเท่านั้น แต่ยังช่วยลดผลกระทบจากปัญหาการแออัดบริเวณด่านเดิมในช่วงฤดูกาลผลไม้ โดยเฉพาะในจังหวัดที่มีชื่อเสียงในการผลิตผลไม้ส่งออก เช่น น่าน, พะเยา และอุตรดิตถ์ ส่งผลให้เกษตรกรและผู้ประกอบการสามารถเข้าถึงตลาดจีนได้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ นอกจากการเพิ่มเส้นทางขนส่งแล้ว การปรับปรุงภาคผนวกของพิธีสารด้านสุขอนามัยพืชช่วยให้การขนส่งผลไม้ผ่านประเทศที่สามเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นและปลอดภัย เป็นการขยายมาตรฐานด้านคุณภาพและสุขอนามัยที่สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของตลาดจีน และเสริมสร้างความเชื่อมั่นต่อผลไม้ไทยในสายตาผู้บริโภคจีน ปัจจัยเหล่านี้จะสนับสนุนให้ตลาดผลไม้ไทยในจีนเติบโตอย่างยั่งยืน ทั้งนี้ การร่วมมือระหว่างกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์ไทยกับสำนักงานศุลกากรแห่งสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน หรือ GACC ในการลงนามพิธีสารครั้งนี้ ยังสะท้อนถึงความสัมพันธ์ทางการค้าระหว่างประเทศที่แน่นแฟ้น เป็นโอกาสทองของภาคเกษตรไทยในการต่อยอดและพัฒนาการส่งออกผ่านเทคโนโลยีและระบบโลจิสติกส์ที่มีประสิทธิภาพ สำหรับเกษตรกรไทย การเตรียมความพร้อมกับการเพิ่มด่านนี้ ควรร่วมมือกับสำนักงานมาตรฐานสินค้าเกษตรและอาหารแห่งชาติ (มกอช.) ในการยกระดับมาตรฐานผลไม้สด และปรับปรุงกระบวนการบรรจุหีบห่อให้ได้มาตรฐานสากล เพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับข้อกำหนดของจีนและลดการคืนสินค้าหรือปัญหาทางศุลกากร โดยรวม การเปิด 5 ด่านใหม่ครั้งนี้จึงไม่ได้เป็นเพียงการขยายเส้นทางขนส่ง แต่ยังสะท้อนถึงการผลักดันพัฒนาการค้าเกษตรร่วมสมัยที่ยั่งยืนและสร้างสรรค์ ซึ่งจะส่งผลดีต่อเศรษฐกิจและความมั่นคงของอุตสาหกรรมผลไม้ไทยในระยะยาว
