PTTEP sends 4.3 billion in revenue into the state.
PTT Petroleum Exploration and Production Company, Public Limited, or PTT, reported earnings for the first nine months of 2025, with a total revenue of $220,503 million and a net profit of $42,761 million, with an average sales volume of 499,925 barrels of crude oil equivalent per day, an increase of 3 percent over the previous year, despite a decline in average sales prices based on world crude oil prices.
During the same period, PTT delivered over 43,700 million in revenue to the state in tax, royalty and output share from the G1 / 61 and G2 / 61 projects under the Productivity Sharing Contract (PSC).
On investment, Chief Executive Officer Lavalay Chaykul revealed that he has taken a 50 percent stake in the Thailand-Malaysia A 18 Joint Development Area, the South's major natural gas field, with a total production rate of 600 million cubic feet per day, and that half of it is shipped to Thailand.
Meanwhile, in Africa, the PTT bought a stake in the Algerian Tuat project, completing a 22.1 percent indirect investment, with the project producing 435 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and the potential to expand future production.
For the country, the company has decided to make a final investment in the carbon dioxide capture and sequestration (CCS) project at the sun source, which will be able to recompress up to 1 million tons of CO ❣ per year, starting in 2028 without affecting natural gas production, and targeting CCS development in other areas of Thailand, including the upper Gulf of Thailand.
In addition, PTT, together with the Department of Natural Fuels, contributed CCS research grants to nine projects from seven leading institutions to develop knowledge throughout the value chain of CCS activities.
For the next plan, the company prepares to make a final investment decision in several overseas projects, such as the Algerian Hassiber Rakez Project, the second phase, the Abu Dhabi Offshore Project 2, and the exploration project in Malaysia where petroleum fields have been found, to strengthen production capacity and create long-term growth.
