สำหรับน้อง ๆ ชาวอีสานที่กำลังเตรียมตัวสมัครรอบโควตา มาทำความเข้าใจและเตรียมพร้อมกันให้ดียิ่งขึ้นนะครับ จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ได้ผ่านการสมัครโควตาในภาคอีสาน ผมขอแนะนำว่าการรู้ถึงการใช้เกณฑ์แต่ละมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นสิ่งสำคัญมาก เพราะบางที่อาจเน้นที่ตั้งโรงเรียนที่น้องเรียนอยู่จริง ๆ ส่วนบางที่อาจดูจากภูมิลำเนาในทะเบียนบ้านซึ่งต้องตรงตามจังหวัดที่กำหนดด้วย ถ้าใครมุ่งเน้นที่มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ลองหาข้อมูลอย่างละเอียดเกี่ยวกับการสอบ NETSAT และการประเมินสมรรถนะเฉพาะของมข. เพื่อเตรียมตัวอย่างถูกจุด ตรงประเด็น จะช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสผ่านเข้ารอบได้มากขึ้น ส่วนมหาวิทยาลัยมหาสารคาม มีโควตาถึง 2 รอบ ทำให้มีโอกาสสูงกว่าเพราะสามารถส่งสมัครได้หลายช่องทาง เช่น TGAT/TPAT หรือ A-Level อีกทั้งถ้าน้อง ๆ เป็นสายวิศวกรรมหรือสายสุขภาพ ลองพิจารณามข., มทส. และมอบ. ที่เปิดรับหลากหลายสาขาวิชา และเน้นเด็กในพื้นที่อีสานโดยเฉพาะ ยังมีมหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏที่มีโครงการโควตาเรียนดีหรือโควตาพื้นที่ซึ่งน่าสนใจมากเช่นกัน น้อง ๆ ที่ไม่ได้อยู่ในภาคอีสานก็ไม่ต้องกังวลไป เพราะมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย มีโครงการพิเศษสำหรับเด็กต่างจังหวัดที่เรียกว่า "โครงการจุฬาฯ-ชนบท" โดยเป็นโควตาพร้อมทุนการศึกษาด้วย รวมทั้งธรรมศาสตร์และเกษตรศาสตร์ก็มีโควตาสำหรับเด็กอีสานในหลายคณะ นอกจากนี้อย่าลืมว่ารอบ TCAS โควตามีคู่แข่งน้อยกว่ารอบปกติ อาจเป็นโอกาสทองของน้อง ๆ ที่มุ่งมั่นจริงจังในการเตรียมตัว ทริคสำคัญคือเริ่มต้นด้วยการอ่านระเบียบในการสมัครให้ละเอียดทุกข้อ และเตรียมเอกสารสำคัญไว้ให้พร้อม เช่น ทะเบียนบ้าน, ใบรายงานผลคะแนนสอบต่าง ๆ สุดท้าย อยากฝากว่าน้อง ๆ ไม่ควรพลาดโอกาสนี้เด็ดขาดครับ เพราะนี่คือช่วงเวลาที่มหาวิทยาลัยต่าง ๆ เปิดรับเด็กในพื้นที่จำนวนมาก พยายามวางแผน ทำคะแนนให้ดีและเก็บข้อมูลโควตาของแต่ละมหาวิทยาลัยไว้ เพื่อให้พร้อมและมั่นใจในวันสมัครจริง จะช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสสำเร็จฝันเข้ามหาวิทยาลัยที่ต้องการได้อย่างมาก ขอให้น้อง ๆ ทุกคนโชคดีและฝ่าฟัน TCAS รอบ 2 อย่างมั่นใจนะครับ!
