To jumpstart the day

Sometimes in the mornings it’s hard for me to jumpstart my appetite. On these days I want to eat something that is light yet satisfying not only to my stomach but to my soul.

That is where the toasted croissant comes in. Bought from Costco in a 12 pack and tossed in the airfryer for 2 minutes it comes out hot, flaky and soft. Paired with a spoonful of Lingonberry jam (yes the red jar from

IKEA) and a pad of butter.

I usually drink a glass of hot water when I wake up and this morning I had a small glass of blueberry juice on the side.
