My current
This book is my current re-read.
Have you ever read a book a long time ago and then revisit it to gain another new perspective from it. I definitely have been doing that more often with books I read over 10 years ago. It really can bring a new view on the characters or situations that I might not have had a mature understanding of years ago.
I got this book at a used bookstore back when I lived in Philadelphia. Used bookstores are a wonderful resource to discovering new things to read.
The best way to describe this book is a woman who discovered the diary of a young Japanese girl washed up in a lunchbox on a beach. As she reads the diary she gets drawn into the mystery of this girl, her life and how this diary got washed up on her shore.
