Conquering Fibroids💪🏽Self-Love & Holistic Healing

🌟✨Finding out I had massive fibroids & cysts was totally unexpected. Sharing this might be TMI, but I hadn't met anyone who'd been through this before. The lack of info on uterine fibroids? Shocking. 😱 This journey? A total eye-opener about my health. From painful periods & heavy flows 🌊 to seeking normalcy, it's been REAL.

No woman should endure fibroid pain. 😓 I was given pain meds but no real solutions or insights into prevention. The lack of info is disheartening. We deserve better, ladies! There was a point when doctors said if I had kids, a hysterectomy might've been the next step. Thankfully, that wasn’t my story. 🙏

This experience taught me the importance of self-love, self-care, and our powerful community. 💪 Men might not get it, but shoutout to my hubby for his emotional support. 🥰 My body is my temple, and I cherish it, in sickness and in health. 🌺

⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

✨To combat fibroids, I've made some changes:✨

1️⃣Juicing consistently with fruits & veggies 🍎🥬 (especially beets for their fibroid-fighting potential!)

2️⃣Cutting back on meat & dairy 🥩➡️🌱

3️⃣Increasing more fiber, vitamin D, and leafy greens into my diet 🥦

4️⃣Embracing a plant-based diet, allowing fish 🐟

5️⃣Trying womb cleansing and vaginal herbal steams 💨

6️⃣Enjoying cranberry juice mocktails 🍹

7️⃣Keeping up with my workout routine, including yoga💪

8️⃣Castor Oil In my belly button during my cycle and castor oil wraps when cramping (if they are bad but they haven’t been since surgery)

9️⃣Green tea 🍵 (lots of it! Especially in the summer I make a delicious lychee green iced tea) 😋👌🏽

1️⃣0️⃣Daily Supplements

1️⃣1️⃣Use natural pain reliefs such as herbs 🌿

1️⃣2️⃣Meditation 🧘🏼‍♀️ journaling ✍🏼✨sound baths

1️⃣3️⃣Therapy 🧠🩵

1️⃣4️⃣Talking with other woman and hearing our shared experiences.

1️⃣5️⃣Self love affirmations while looking in the mirror.

1️⃣6️⃣LOTS OF WALKING & Water 💦

(Highly recommend investing in a portable heating pad like the one in my pic) 😉

These aren't just steps for prevention; they're about empowering us to explore holistic treatments and know you're not alone in this. 💖

Let's push for more research and info on uterine fibroids, so women everywhere can have the answers and support they need. Here's to self-love, self-care, and the strength of womanhood and community! 🌸💪❤️

... Read moreWhen I first discovered I had massive fibroids, the news felt overwhelming. Dealing with constant fatigue, heavy periods, and a growing belly, I was desperate for solutions beyond just pain medication. It felt like doctors offered little insight into prevention or holistic management, pushing me to explore natural alternatives, especially remedies involving herbs. My search for natural relief led me down a path of discovery, focusing on how different herbs could support my body. I started researching traditional uses for natural pain relief, especially for menstrual discomfort. I learned about anti-inflammatory herbs like ginger and turmeric, which I began incorporating regularly into my diet through teas and smoothies. Another herb that caught my attention was red raspberry leaf, often praised as a uterine tonic. I started drinking red raspberry leaf tea daily, hoping to strengthen my uterus and potentially ease heavy bleeding. It became a comforting ritual, a small act of self-care each morning. The idea of "womb cleansing" also resonated with me, particularly through vaginal herbal steams. After much research, I decided to try them, using a blend of herbs like mugwort, calendula, and lavender. The process itself was incredibly relaxing and felt deeply nourishing. I'd prepare a warm, fragrant steam and sit over it, allowing the gentle warmth and herbal essences to soothe. While the scientific evidence might be debated, personally, I felt a sense of increased circulation and relaxation in my pelvic area, which seemed to alleviate some of my discomfort. Castor oil wraps became another staple in my natural regimen. I'd apply castor oil to my abdomen, especially during my cycle, and cover it with a warm pack. This practice, traditionally used for detoxification and reducing inflammation, felt like it provided gentle relief from cramping. It was a simple, accessible way to support my body at home. I also leaned heavily on green tea, known for its antioxidant properties, making large batches of iced lychee green tea in the summer – a delicious way to boost my intake. These herbal practices weren't isolated; they were deeply intertwined with the broader lifestyle changes I made to prevent fibroids and support my overall well-being. Coupled with my dietary shifts towards more plant-based foods, fresh juices packed with beets and leafy greens, and consistent exercise, these natural remedies felt like powerful allies. It was a journey of trial and error, learning what my body responded to best. Each step, from sipping an herbal tea to doing a warm castor oil wrap, contributed to a feeling of empowerment and helped me navigate the challenges of fibroids with a greater sense of control and hope.
