3 Vital nutrients linked to type 2 diabetes.

I want to start by saying that minerals and vitamins supplements when used correctly can be beneficial in the short term. But it’s important to know that when use incorrectly they can do more harm than good. To start when you consume isolated minerals and vitamins in a way your playing chemistry with your own body which can throw it out of balance. For example calcium is one supplement that should be used under supervision and care. It’s always best to use in depth the blood work analysis and see how you can help your body short term. But ideally you want to eventually transition to a whole food diet where your getting a complete source of all vitamins and minerals naturally through food and herbs. Supplementation definitely has a time and a place and can sometimes help you improve so you can transition into a nourishing diet. But always remember that the true key to healing is keeping your stress levels down, eating real food, and increasing oxygen through deep breathing exercises.

... Read moreResearchers have identified three key nutrients that play a significant role in preventing type 2 diabetes: calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D. Calcium intake has been associated with a reduced risk of developing diabetes, particularly when balanced with magnesium levels. Magnesium is crucial as it helps in regulating insulin action and blood sugar levels. Studies show that a dietary intake of 250-350 mg of magnesium daily can significantly lower the risk. Vitamin D is another essential nutrient, with a dose of around 2,000 IU showing major improvements in preventing and managing type 2 diabetes. It aids in insulin regulation and improves overall glucose metabolism. Achieving optimal levels of these nutrients through diet, rather than reliance on supplements, is essential for long-term health. Integrating rich sources of these vitamins into your meals—such as leafy greens for magnesium, dairy products for calcium, and sun exposure or fortified foods for vitamin D—can help maintain balance in your diet and support overall wellness. Remember, monitoring your nutrient intake carefully and opting for a whole food diet can create a more stable environment for your body, potentially reducing the risk of type 2 diabetes.
