Cajun Shrimp Pasta ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ

... Read moreCajun Shrimp Pasta is such a versatile and satisfying dish that I love preparing on busy weeknights or for a cozy dinner at home. Using fresh shrimp seasoned with a robust Cajun spice blend gives the pasta a wonderful kick without overpowering the creaminess of the sauce. When making this dish, I like to sautรฉ the shrimp just until they're pink and tenderโ€”overcooking can make them rubbery. For the pasta, fettuccine or linguine works beautifully as they hold the sauce well. A practical tip is to temper the heat level according to your preference; the beauty of Cajun spices is their flexibility. I usually start with a standard mix of paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and oregano, but sometimes add a dash of smoked paprika for a deeper flavor. Adding some fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice at the end brightens the dish and balances the richness. This recipe pairs perfectly with a simple green salad and garlic bread for a complete meal. If youโ€™re looking to meal prep, prepare the shrimp and sauce separately, then toss with freshly cooked pasta right before serving to keep everything fresh and delicious. This dish also freezes well without losing its flavor, making it great for leftovers. Overall, Cajun Shrimp Pasta is a crowd-pleaser that brings great taste with minimal effort. Whether itโ€™s a dinner for two or a weekend treat, it always hits the spot!

My 12 yr old daughter made this the other night alongside fried tilapia and cornbread and she did an amazing job. I made the fish and she helped with the cornbread but the pasta was all of her doing
