I don't know how folks date in Metro Atlanta anymore. 😂 You invest your time, your money, your prayers, and your heart...just to find out you're their emotional support animal. 🤦🏾♂️🤣
Being with somebody who treats you like a priority instead of a backup plan...that's the biggest flex.
Being with somebody who knows your weird habits, your random movie quotes, your introvert moments, and still says, "Yep...that's my person"...that's the biggest flex.
Coming home to a hot meal and comfortable silence instead of hearing, "What's wrong?" every 37 seconds because you're just sitting there thinking about football, Batman, or what you're eating tomorrow...that's the biggest flex. 🤣
Never having to play detective wondering if she's texting five other dudes while telling you she's "just busy"...that's the biggest flex.
Having somebody who genuinely enjoys your company instead of merely tolerating your presence...that's the biggest flex.
Having someone who understands that sometimes you need a little solitude without assuming you're mad, cheating, or plotting to disappear...that's the biggest flex.
And above all, having consistency. Not hot today, cold tomorrow. Not "I miss you" on Monday and "leave me alone" by Wednesday. Just steady. That's rare.
Scripture reminds us in Luke 18:1-8 to always pray and not lose heart. Sometimes we're so busy asking God for flashy that we overlook faithful.
Peace is attractive.
Loyalty is attractive.
Consistency is attractive.
A relationship that gives you peace instead of anxiety isn't boring...it's a blessing. That's the real flex. 💯
