6 things I do as a Christian🤎✨✝️
1. Start every morning studying God’s word — Our heavenly Father knows what we will face each day. Meeting with Him before the chaos of our day ensues, fills our hearts and minds with his love and peace. Realigning our spirits with God, so we will respond in a Christ like manner when life unfolds. And prepares us to pour the light of His love out in to a world that desperately needs it.
2. Put my phone on Bible Mode — This helps keep me reminded to keep my eyes on Jesus throughout my day. And helps me not take in too much negative social media.
3. I started Bible journaling notes and little things God puts on my heart. — I spend more time in the Word and in my Bible than with my phone.
4. I started a daily Bible study group chat with friends — It’s a great way to stay in the Word with the encouragement of other women. We each go through the daily study on our own, and then anyone who wants to can share thoughts, questions, or reflections in the chat.
5. Going to God with my struggles before friends/family — Jesus never loses sight of us. He climbs right into our mess with us, and with His presence comes peace.
6. Pray and write in my prayer journal each night — This helps me make sure I remember to seek out God and pray multiple times a day, ending my night in prayer. While also allowing me to reflect on all the ways He’s blessed me, answered prayers, and brought me peace.
