TikTok has truly humbled me. I came in to TikTok believing my fortune was tied to it affiliate marketing ,going live ,, and by now, I’d be viral. But here I am, 2 years in, still waiting to hit 10k views! I’ve jumped from niche to niche—beauty one day, life lessons the next. Honestly, it’s not TikTok’s fault. That’s just my ADHD creativity at work. But I still believe—my fortune is tied to the creative space. Viral or not, I’m still here, still creating! These days, I post because creating has become part of who I am.
Somewhere between the failed videos, the 200-view masterpieces, random friendships and connections and the drafts still sitting in my phone ,I accidentally became a creator.
And honestly?
I think that’s the real win. If you can relate leave a word in the comment I believe our big break is coming 😁

Navigating TikTok as a creator can be both exhilarating and humbling. From my own experience, the challenges of growing an audience often stem from juggling multiple niches and managing the unpredictable nature of viral content. Like many, I initially focused on affiliate marketing and live sessions, hoping for quick fame. However, the reality is much more complex, especially for creators with ADHD whose minds crave variety and creative experimentation. One key insight is the importance of consistency paired with authentic content. It’s tempting to switch topics rapidly to find what ‘sticks,’ but sometimes building a loyal following requires honing in on what truly resonates with you and your audience. Moreover, embracing the creative process itself rather than fixating on metrics like views or followers can transform your approach and mental health. TikTok often serves as a mirror, reflecting both our creative strengths and vulnerabilities. I found that even the videos with low views still generated meaningful connections and insights, which fueled my growth. The friendships and interactions within the creator community can be invaluable, turning casual followers into supporters who encourage perseverance. From my perspective, the real win lies in becoming a creator—not just chasing numbers but owning your creative journey with patience and self-acceptance. For those with ADHD or a similarly restless creative spirit, this means allowing space for exploration and occasional pivots without self-judgment. If you’re on a similar path, remember that viral fame is unpredictable and not the only marker of success. Instead, focus on your evolving story, the lessons learned, and the joy of creating content that feels meaningful. Sometimes, the biggest break comes from being authentically yourself and embracing the process rather than the outcome.
