And the Blackberry Danish, with its delicate triangle shape, is another visual and taste masterpiece. Their display case often features seasonal delights, but some staples I can’t get enough of include the Pistachio Pain Suisse – a rich, flaky pastry with a vibrant pistachio filling that’s just divine. For something a bit more savory, the Mortadella Pistachio Croissant is surprisingly addictive, blending savory meats with that nutty crunch. While many of their NYC locations, including the Greenpoint spot, are on the cozier side – perfect for a quick pick-me-up rather than settling in for a long work session – the atmosphere is always inviting. I've found the staff at Paloma Coffee & Bakery to be consistently warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasant experience. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The decor is often described as cute and minimalist, with thoughtful touches like window seating that offers a lovely view of the street, making it a great spot for a short coffee break or a casual catch-up with a friend. What truly sets Paloma apart, especially in a city brimming with cafes, is their commitment to unique, high-quality bakery items that you truly won’t find elsewhere.
